OUR STORY
Four of us, four cities
Three cousins and a friend from Venezuela, one long group chat, and a problem two of us could not solve.
WE GREW UP GOLDEN. THEN TWO OF US MOVED SOMEWHERE WITH WINTER.
We are three cousins and a friend who grew up in Venezuela. Sun was not something you planned for. It was the weather, every month of the year, and the color it gave us was just what our skin looked like.
Then college split us across four North American cities. Miami, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Boston. Two of us kept the climate we were raised in. Two of us got real winters for the first time in our lives.
What we noticed
The two of us in Miami and Los Angeles felt the same in January as we did in July. Same skin, same photos, same confidence. The two of us in DC and Boston did not. By February the color we had carried since childhood was gone, and it turned out that color had been doing more for how we felt than any of us realized.
It became a running conversation in our group chat. Not a vanity thing exactly. More like losing a small piece of home every time the daylight got short.

What we went looking for
Something you take, not something you spray on. We wanted to support the color from the inside, the way food does, without streaks, without an orange cast and without a tanning bed.
