How do tanning gummies actually work?

Tanning gummies give your body carotenoids, the pigments that make carrots orange and tomatoes red. GLOW uses three of them: beta carotene, lycopene and astaxanthin. They are fat soluble, so they travel in your bloodstream and settle in the layer beneath your skin, where they support your skin's own natural pigment. Sunlight is still what does the tanning. The gummy primes your skin, it does not replace time outside, and it is not sun protection.*

What is in Solara tanning gummies?

Per daily serving: astaxanthin 10mg, beta carotene 15mg, lycopene 15mg, hyaluronic acid 25mg, vitamin C 70mg and vitamin E 15mg. Vegan, sugar free, no gelatin. The carotenoids do the pigment work, the hyaluronic acid supports hydration, and vitamins C and E are there for antioxidant support.*

What is the recommended dosage and when will I see results?

Two to four gummies a day, any time, with or without food. Most people start noticing something around week 6 to 8. The formula is built around a full 90 day cycle, which is why the 3-pack exists. Consistency matters more than dose. Two every day beats four when you remember.*

Are tanning gummies safe? Can I take them with other supplements?

The ingredients are food-based nutrients at daily amounts you would find in a normal diet, and they sit fine alongside most supplements, including collagen. If you already take a high dose vitamin A or beta carotene supplement, check with your doctor before adding these, because carotenoids stack. If you take medication or have a medical condition, ask your doctor first, the same as with any supplement.

Will I turn orange?

No. Orange comes from two places, and neither one applies here. DHA self-tanners react with the proteins on the surface of your skin, and carotenoid megadoses well above a food-level amount can tint skin. GLOW delivers pigment gradually at a food-level dose, which reads as a warm golden undertone rather than a color change.*

Are there any side effects?

Most people have none. Your body handles these the way it handles a diet heavy in carrots or tomatoes. Very high intakes over a long stretch can give skin a yellow cast, which is why the serving is capped at four a day. Stop and talk to your doctor if anything feels off.

How long does it last if I stop taking them?

It fades gradually over about two to four weeks as your skin renews, the same way sun exposure fades. No patchiness and no streaking, because nothing is sitting on the surface of your skin.*

Can I take tanning gummies if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Check with your healthcare provider first. That is the honest answer for any supplement during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and it is not a call we can make for you. Show them the ingredient panel and let them decide.
